The Mitsui Chemicals Group's environment-oriented products have been developed with two aims in mind: to reduce the environmental loads of “3R,” “energy,” and “environmental contamination” and health and safety. Our products are classified in such as way as to readily assess their most effective use at any process or stage whether it is raw materials acquisition and use, semi-finished/final products processing, disposal, or logistics.
Ordinary consumers almost never directly see the products of the Mitsui Chemicals Group. It is, therefore, not easy to demonstrate the “environmentoriented” aspect of our products. That’s why we have this year pointed out the two categories in which the “environment-oriented” function can be applied for both product materials and processes.
