In line with the Japan Pavilion’s main theme of “Harmonious Diversity”, Mitsui Chemicals will introduce world-changing agricultural technology at Expo 2015 Milano which runs from May 1st to October 31st.

The Japan Pavilion, with a focus on the ingenuity of Japanese food culture, will introduce the many ways it “harmonizes with nature” and the many “graces borne of diversity and inherent wisdom” of the Japanese people and their affinity for nature. This Japanese cherishing of and coexistence with nature may hold the key to resolving global food problems.

Mitsui Chemicals endorses the concept of the Japan Pavilion of Expo 2015 Milano and is proud to offer a video presentation of its new concept “iCAST® (integrated Cultivation-Accelerating System)”.

In its role as a solution provider to problems facing people around the world, Mitsui Chemicals has developed a unique crop cultivation system which maximizes yield and quality while minimizing water, fertilizer, and pesticides, and significantly reducing environmental burden making agriculture more environment-friendly. Using a plant dependent growth factor delivery technology to maximize quality and optimal growth, Mitsui Chemicals’ “iCAST®” may be one answer to the serious global food challenge.
