Effective April 1st 2009, the Agrochemicals Division of the Advanced Chemicals Business Sector and Sankyo Agro Co., Ltd. merged to form Mitsui Chemicals Agro, Inc. in an effort to intensify the operations as one of the group’s core businesses and enhance corporate value.
The newly formed Mitsui Chemicals Agro, Inc. will concentrate on business in the areas of agrochemicals and non-crop specialty chemicals from the consumer viewpoint.
