Toward the Expansion of Intellectual Property of the Mitsui Chemicals Group

Mitsui Chemicals broadly recognizes intellectual property to be intangible assets that contribute to the business of Mitsui Chemicals, including not only conventional patents, utility models, designs, trademarks and copyrights, but also know-how and company information.

Centered on the Intellectual Property Division, we will work together with each related division inside and outside the company to expand the intellectual property of the Mitsui Chemicals Group, and aim to increase the asset value of the Mitsui Chemicals Group by doing so.

Roles of the Intellectual Property Division

The Intellectual Property Division plays the following roles in order to achieve the targets above.
