Mitsui Chemicals, in hope of further development of catalysis science contributing to "Dream-Inspiring Innovation", has hosted every other year "The Mitsui Chemicals International Symposium on Catalysis Science (MICS)" since 2003.
This year, Mitsui Chemicals held "The Third Mitsui Chemicals International Symposium on Catalysis Science (MICS2007)", focusing on the theme of "Polymerization Catalysis - Current Status and Future Prospects -."
The Symposium featured lectures from eleven of the
world's front-line researchers in the catalysis science,
including three Nobel Prize Laureates in Chemistry,
Prof. J.-M. Lehn, Prof.
R. H. Grubbs
and Prof. R. R. Schrock.
We report the eleven lectures, the "2007 Mitsui
Chemicals Catalysis Science Award" ceremony & commemorative
lectures and topics at the MICS2007. |
